DESIGNER NOTES
If you're looking for high speed, here's a great setup:
Himax 2025-5300,
2100 mAh 11.1 V (3S) lipo,
APC 7x6 prop,
25 Amp ESC.
This setup will pull about 20 amps and should provide a top speed of nearly 70 mph. That's quite a bit faster than the 50-55 mph you get with my usual park jet setup (Himax 2015-4100, 4.4 gearing, APC 9x7.5 prop), at the expense of about 3 oz more weight.
Another Set-up From Steve Shumate
It's not too hard to build an F-15 at 16 oz. You don't have to do anything different with the foam or glue, just keep your electronics equipment and propulsion selections as light as possible. Here's the weight breakdown of my ship:
Foam 6 oz (this is the weight of all the foam called out on the plans)
Glue 1 oz (assumes some use of epoxy in critical areas)
Other structure (spars, pushrods, motor mount, wiring, etc.) 2.0 oz
Paint .75 oz (keep it light! Just two light coats of acrylic craft paint)

This is the AUW you saw in the video I posted (with an Axi 2208), but once I swapped the Axi for an LSPJ motor my AUW dropped to only 15.5 oz! The F-15 is a floater and a true park flyer at that weight. But it still has plenty of speed when you pour on the coals!

Here is the long awaited Alpha jet plans, the best all round foamy jet. It's a bi-plane that is ultra stable at nearly vertical angles of attack, the unique duel wing keeps the air flowing over the bottom wing giving lift at amazing angles! With the large thrust vectoring elevons this plane can roll and loop on demand. And all this from just over one sheet on 6mm depron, two servos and a standard parkjet setup.
This amazing plane flys without any carbon or wooden support, the wing structure keeps both wings from flexing. Another cool feature is the adjustable motor mount, you can slide the mount forwards or back before gluing to make sure your prop fits central in the two prop slots, making it able to fit all most any motor.

These are my plans for a simple profile SU-31 3D aerobatic model. This design features easy tabbed construction so it goes together quickly. This airplane is designed to be made out of 6mm Depron foam but lots of materials will work, you might just have to adjust the tabs.
Additionally, the slots for the motor mount may have to be adjusted, depending on which motor you choose to use.
I designed this model a little larger than my other models, so its certainly best flown outdoors. Also, the use of carbon rods and supports is recommended.

This model is a foam parkflyer adaptation of Laddie Mikulasko's beautiful Northstar seaplane. I named it Polaris to pay homage to the original (for those that don't know, Polaris is the astronomical name of the real North Star). This design is mostly faithful in outline to the original, but I did make a few modifications to adapt it to foam construction, electric propulsion, and to better suit the parkflyer role. This model handles beautifully in the air, and is smooth, stable and very aerobatic. It also has excellent water manners--tracks well, steers well, and lifts off effortlessly. It also flies well off of snow or grass, making it a very versatile model.

I used a Grayson 2212-06 motor, which is a perfect match for this airframe. It provides 1.3:1 thrust-to-weight ratio for unlimited vertical and roughly 70 mph top speed. Plus the small 6" diameter prop keeps the thrust line low to minimize the effects of the high thrust line. This model was designed to accommodate up to a 7" diameter prop—just mount the motor at the bottom of the firewall if using a 6" prop and at the top of the firewall if using a 7" prop.
When set up as recommended, this model has very little pitch trim change with throttle, even though it has a high thrust line. That's primarily because both the motor and horizontal stabilizer are installed with -2 degrees incidence. The low speed controllability of this model is especially good due to the location of the prop in front of the elevator and rudder, allowing it to turn easily on water, snow or grass—or fly at high alpha with excellent control.

Note this design is quite a bit more complex than my other park jet designs, due mostly to the complex geometry of the real F/A-22. It requires a LOT of heat forming foam as well as making a lot of bevel cuts and aligning parts at odd angles. If you haven’t built a park jet before, this is NOT the model to start with! It will be a challenging build. But if you’ve built other park jets it shouldn’t be too difficult.

NOTE FROM THE DESIGNER
This is my new #1 favorite park jet! It is smooth and graceful in the air, yet when pushed hard demonstrates incredible agility just like the real Su-37 in the many videos posted on YouTube.
This model was designed for twin Littlescreamers Park Jet (LSPJ) motors and features a working 3-axis thrust vectoring system (pitch, roll, and yaw) just like the real thing. With the TV system off, this model handles as well as any other park jet I've built and is very predictable, easy to fly, and has no bad habits.
But with the TV system on, it can do wingtip flips, incredibly tight turns, and wild tumbling maneuvers. The TV system also provides excellent controllability at ultra low airspeeds and high alpha.
With the twin LSPJs, top speed is in the neighborhood of 80 mph ( ) and thrust-to-weight ratio is between 1.4 and 1.7 for unlimited vertical. AMAZING performance! And with counter-rotating propellers there is no prop torque, resulting in very smooth launches and more jet-like handling qualities.
This model was designed specifically for twin LSPJ motors so it’s sized slightly larger than my other standard park jets, with 290 sq in wing area instead of 250 sq in.
This was done to account for the higher weight of the propulsion system (two motors, two ESCs, larger battery) and thrust vectoring system, yet still provide parkflyer-type wing loading.
Other motors could work OK (such as Axi 2212/20's), but they need to be lightweight (both for balance and to reduce the load on the TV servos) and spin a small diameter prop (to reduce gyroscopic effects when using the TV).
However, it will be very difficult to beat the performance of the LSPJs—they are ideally suited for this application since they are so light and provide so much power with just 6" diameter props!

For those that are interested, the biggest changes I made from the beta plans include: 1) Added an optional modification to the turtledeck to allow simulating that nice flowing crease in the turtledeck (the previous design had just a simple flat-sided turtledeck). 2) Added a sill piece to the lower canopy to make it more realistic-looking and flow into the crease in the turtledeck. 3) Used 2 layers of 3/8" side foam strips on all corners of the forward fuselage. This adds strength and allows sanding larger radius corners. 4) The aft fuselage sides were about 1/4" too long, so I trimmed them. 5) The forward fuselage top piece was a little bit too short, so I lengthened it about 1/4". 6) Moved the flaperon servos to on top of the wing instead of under it. I decided the servo arms were just too exposed on bottom and would catch the grass on landing and result in damage. 7) Added a hatch in the turtledeck to provide access to the receiver.

Following up on my Alpha Jet, F-15, and F4F Wildcat, this is my tail-mounted twin engine SU-37. The plans contain both a single engine (mid-mounted) and twin engine option. The plane is very smooth and flies great!
This SU-37 uses a score and fold build method to achieve scale looks in a fraction of the time. This is a very scale looking model but has a very quick build time due to the way it is put together, simply cut out the parts and score on the dotted lines and the parts all fold together to form the sleek shape of the real SU-37.
In the free download, you will get two sets of plans, a twin motor elevon mounted plan and a single mid mount plan, both planes look amazing and both perform very well.

It keeps the simple form of thrust vectoring by having the control surfaces in the prop wash from a mid-mounted motor. An excellent parkflyer RC airplane. Very stable and very easy to fly.
It is built from 6mm Depron foam, held together with hot glue. I used Epoxy for the carbon rods and motor mount.

NOTE FROM THE DESIGNER
It has a mid-mounted motor, electronics and battery are mounted on a tray which is accessible via an access door underneath. It is built from 6 mm Depron foam, held together with hot glue. I only used Epoxy for the carbon rods. I used just two servos to control all surfaces but you could use a third for separate elevator. An excellent design for a RC airplane parkflyer.
It flies very good even in windy conditions and inverted is a breeze.

The Su-37 is a mid-mounted pusher model intended to be flown with tailerons only, but it can easily be equipped with ailerons and rudders. Build it from the plans attached below.
The dimensions of the slots and tabs are made for 6 mm depron.

NOTES FROM THE DESIGNER
A prop in slot version of the Convair XF2Y Seadart. It is basically a semi-profile park jet that can fly off water. The Seadart can fly off grass or water.
Some handling tips:
Water handling: A medium fast taxi that lets the plane just rise up on the ski and the tip floats is the easiest way to get around on water. At higher speeds, where only one tip float may be touching the surface, a bit of aileron with the rudder helps with turning.
Take off: A good take off technique is to let the plane accelerate until it is just riding on the ski and then apply gentle up elevator to get it airborne smoothly.
Flying: General flying is easy. Expect some minor pitch changes when suddenly opening the throttle at very low speeds, due to the high thrust line.
Landing: Landings are easy. These can be done fast and smooth or you can flare to zero airspeed and plop down.
