NOTE FROM THE DESIGNER
Note this design is quite a bit more complex than my other park jet designs, due mostly to the complex geometry of the real F/A-22. It requires a LOT of heat forming foam as well as making a lot of bevel cuts and aligning parts at odd angles. If you haven’t built a park jet before, this is NOT the model to start with! It will be a challenging build. But if you’ve built other park jets it shouldn’t be too difficult.
SPECIFICATIONS
Wing area: 248 sq in | Span: 26.0" | Length: 36.3" | Weight RTF: 16 to 18 oz (estimate) | Wing loading: 10.5 oz/ft2 | Motor: Littlescreamers Park Jet Special (LSPJ) | Battery: Thunder Power 1320 mAh 11.1V Prolite | Prop: APC 7x4 (for aerobatics) or 6x5.5 (for speed) | Current: 15 amps | Watts: 150 watts | Power loading: 140 to 150 watts/lb | Flight controls: Stabilator, flaperons, rudder (optional), thrust vectoring (optional)
